The film follows Brodie Torrance (Butler), a commercial pilot who saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island. However, surviving the landing is just the beginning, as the island is inhabited by dangerous rebels. Torrance must team up with Louis Gaspare (Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported on the plane, to rescue the passengers and get them off the island alive.
